This 18th century Delft Biblical tile depicts the moment that Jesus expels the merchants from the temple (Matthew 21 verse 12). The tile was fabricated around 1750, most like in the Dutch city of Rotterdam. It is decorated with 'ox-head' corner motifs and in a good condition with just a few minor chips.
