This is a lovely 18th century Delft border tile with a Dutch landscape. It depicts a water well and a small village in the background. Most border tiles depict an ongoing pattern or motif. Border tiles that depict landscape scenes such as this one are therefore very rare. The tile is decorated with 'spider' corner motifs and is in a good condition. Note the covered up chip on the lower right corner and a small chip on the top left corner.
