Overview
This Delft tile depicts a scene in the typical 'Chinese Garden' style, but this one depicts a 'scroll'. Scolls were often used as an art form in decorations and architecture. They were also often depicting on Chinese porcelain, making it no surprise that the Dutch potters got inspired by this as well. The tile is decorated with the 'three-dot' corner motif and in a good condition with minor restorations along the sides and corners.
