Overview
We are not completely sure what this figure is up to. The club he is holding in combination with his raised left arm, creates a somewhat taunting appearance. Therefore it is very well possible that he is ready to rumble. The tile is of the rare 'circle cord' type, which are iconic Delft tiles that were made around 1600. It is in a very pure condition without restorations, but has some chips mainly along the right side.
