Overview
This high quality tile dates from the beginning of the 17th century (c. 1620) and depicts the so called 'Pompadour' motif. It is a type of ornament tile which was made on a large scale, but of which almost no original installations still remain. The tile is decorated with 'corners in reserve' and in a mint condition.
