Overview
This Delft tile dates from around 1620. It is a rare type of 'crown' tile, with an 'open air'. These type of tiles are more common when the scene is depicted in a circle, but the 'open air' scenes cover the entire tile. The tile depicts a large bull with fierce looking horns and a long tail. The tile was made in the Dutch city of Rotterdam and is in a good condition with professional restorations on the top corners. Also the lower corners have some minor restorations.
