This late 18th century (c. 1780) Delft tile depicts the Biblical scene in which Jesus eventually alms the storm on the lake of Galilea. On the tile he is still depicted sleeping at the quarterdek. The tile is decorated with 'rosette' corner motifs and an accolade shaped border. It has a small superficial chip next to the Psalm reference.
