Overview
This rare type of Delft wall tile depicts a so called 'Chinese Garden'. It is most likely the type of Delft wall tiles that was most painted in the style of Chinese Porcelain. The tile is decorated with 'Wanli' corner motifs. They were also made without the 'Wanli' inspired corner motifs. This tile dates from around 1640 and is in a good condition with professional restorations along the sides and corners.
