Overview
This Delft tile was made in the Dutch city of Haarlem around 1640. The 'Aigrette' border and corner motifs are iconic for the production of Delft tiles in this city. This aigrette border is painted in blue and a brownish/orange kind of shade. In the center a stronghold is depicted. The tile is in a good condition with the normal superficial wear and chips.
