Overview
The man on this tile is on his way to a new client. He is a chimney sweeper and holds a broom in his right hand and two poles, to push out bricks of sooth, in his left hand. A photo of the image the scene is depicted on has been added. Unfortunately the photo is of a low quality, but it shows the chimney sweeper approaching the house. The tile dates from around 1660 and is decorated with 'ox-head' corner motifs. It is in a good condition.
