The man on this Delft tile is keeping birds. One of them is sitting on his hand. It might be his favorite bird as he has an expression on his face which almost makes us think he is in love with it. The tile dates from the second half of the 17th century (c. 1680) and it is decorated with the 'ox-head' corner motif. It is in a great condition.
