Overview
This large and rare antique Delft tile is known as a 'Kwadraat' or 'Diamond Square' tile. They are iconic for the Delft tile industry during the very first decades. This tile was made around 1620 and depicts a colorful dog. Most likely chasing game during the hunt. The tile is decorated with 'corners in reserve' and is a good condition with professional restorations mainly along the four sides and corners.
