This Delft tile was made around 1640 and depicts a beautiful and colourful tulip. The Dutch national symbol! The tile was made during or just after the 'tulip mania', which was the first ecorded speculative bubble or asset bubble in history. The tile is decorated with 'ox-head' corner motifs and is overall in a good condition and pure condition with some covered up chips along the left side.
