Overview
This Delft tile was made around 1660 in the Dutch city of Harlingen by pottery Pyter Grauda. Tiles made by them have a characteristic deep shade of blue, depict well-painted scenes and are painted on a bright but off-white shade. The tile is decorated with 'ox-head' corner motifs and has professional restorations on all four corner motifs.
