This 18th century (c. 1780) Delft tile depicts the iconic Biblical story of Noah's Ark. God spares Noah, his family, and examples of all the world's animals from a global deluge caused by the Genesis flood. The tile is decorated with 'rosette' corner motifs and is overall in a mint condition. It was most lilely made in the Dutch city of Rotterdam.
