Overview
This antique Delft tile depicts a small wooden cargo boat under sail. The tile dates from the 17th century (c. 1660) and was made in the Dutch city of Harlingen. The tile is decorated with 'ox-head' corner motifs. It is in a very good condition with a small chip in the glaze below the top right corner.
