This antique Delft tile dates from around 1760 and depicts most likely a hunted seal. We think someone has been hunting it, as the seal as two arrows in its tail. The tile was most likely made in the Dutch city of Rotterdam and is decorated with 'spider' corner motifs. It is in a great condition with just a small chip on the top side and two very minor ones near the lower corners.
