Overview
This antique Delft tile depicts a man or a child on the shoulders of another man. It might be part of an act, making the figures acrobats. It is also possible that it is a father carrying his child on his shoulders; for the best view. The tile is decorated with the 'spider' corner motif and dates from the 17th century (c. 1680). It is overall in a good condition somel superficial wear and chips.
