Overview
These two tile murals are an original pair and date from the end of the 18th century. They were made in the Dutch city of Rotterdam. They depict a cat and a dog, which both have their duty in the household. The cat hunts rodents, such as two mice depicted on the mural. One is already between the jaws of the cat, while another one tries to make an escape. The dog guards the house and its property from unwanted visitors. The murals are in a very good and pure condition and have completely been prepared by us to be reused for tiling projects.
