This antique Delft tile dates from halfway the 19th century (c. 1850) and depicts a rare scene symbolizing love. Most likely to celebrate marriage, as there are two love birds at the top and two burning hearts in the center. The tile is decorated with guirlandes and objects in the 'Louis Seize' style, which was very popular around 1800. The tile is in a good condition with professional restorations along the left, lower and right side.
