This mid 17th century (c. 1660) Delft tile was made in the Dutch city of Harlingen. It shows a herring buss and its crew reeling in the net and hopefully some fish. The tile is decorated with 'ox-head' corner motifs and in a good and pure condition. Note that the top left corner has a glued fracture.
