This antique Delft tile mural dates from around 1850 and was made in the Dutch city of Utrecht. It depicts a yellow canary in a manganese bird cage. An interesting detail is the blue drinking bowl on the left side. The yellow ring on the right side of the cage allows you to pull out the feeding basket for the bird. The mural is in a good condition but has professional restorations. These are mainly glued and restored fractures (visible on rear side). It comes completely prepared to be reused for tiling projects.
