Overview
This antique Delft tile was made around 1740 and depicts a well-painted landscape scene in blue. The scene depicts two fishermen in a small rowing boat reeling in their nets. On the left side a small village with a tall fire beacon is shown. The scene is painted in an octagon shaped border with a dotted manganese surround. The corners are decorated with a 'rosette' inspired motif. The tile is in a very good condition.
