Overview
This antique Delft tile dates from the very beginning of the 17th century; the Dutch Golden Age. It was made around 1620 and is as thick and solid as a floor tile. It depicts a colorful flower pot, with all sorts of flowers. The decorative borders with 'corners in reserve' are typical for tiles made during this time period. The tile is after 400 years still in an excellent condition.
