Overview
This beautiful antique Dutch tile shows a priest or monk performing a ritual. He holds his cross infront of him and seems to be holding a knife in his left hand. The tile is decorated with ox-head corner motifs and is in a good unrestored condition. The 'darker' spots in the glaze on the upper half of the tile are the result of the tile reaching a too high temperature in the oven.
