The combination of modern design with the authentic look and feel of Dutch Delft antique tiles, creates an interior with a warm, elegant and overall stylish effect. In this specific project our tiles and murals were used to decorate the bathroom, kitchen and hallway of a 2015 built home.
Hallway tiles and murals
In the hallway of the house murals depicting a flower vase, a cat & dog and two farmers having their cattle on display (horse and cow) were used. Next to that two pilasters were placed, both depicting different kind of animals such as parrots, peacocks and other types of birds. All these murals and pilasters were set between original plain white tiles, in Dutch known as ‘witjes’.
Kitchen tile mural
Although the quality of the photo we took is rather poor, the result of placing this beautiful manganese tile mural depicting a Dutch landscape scene is absolutely stunning. The mural excists out of 20 tiles and depicts a farmer, cows and their farm. It has a decorated border and is set between original plain white tiles.
Bathroom tiles
The bathroom is decorated with 33 manganese ornamental design murals, each excisting out of 4 tiles. These murals are once again set between plain white tiles.
