P-30 series – Ships and boats
These Delft wall tiles are based on original 17th-century designs, featuring the classic ox-head (PCM-21) corner motif and painted in traditional Delft blue. The photos show the P-30 series on our All-in Mix, a blend of all nine shades, finished with a crackled glaze and pinholes for a more authentic feel. This is our usual setup, but everything can be customised to match your project or style.
20 unique scenes
The P-30 series includes 20 different designs, all carefully reproduced from a set of original 17th-century Delft tiles made in the Dutch town of Harlingen. You’ll notice the typical Harlinger painting style in the way the sea is painted across the scenes. This collection shows a mix of 17th-century ships and boats once used in the Dutch trade market, each proudly flying the Dutch flag. These tiles are a perfect way to bring a touch of classic maritime history into your home. And since every tile is hand-painted, no two are exactly the same, each one has its own little character and charm.
Pinholes in the corners
Pinholes were part of the tile production process before 1860. A wooden board was used to stabilize the clay during cutting, leaving small pin marks - typically two, three, or four. This enhancement can be added to these tiles to recreate this authentic imperfection, contributing to their historic look and feel.
Crackled finish
Crazing refers to the fine network of hairline cracks that appear over time on antique ceramics, including Delft tiles. It occurs naturally with age, but we offer it as an optional finish to evoke the same aged appearance. If you're looking for a more antique, timeworn look, the crackled finish is a perfect match for this series.

While not machine-made to uniform precision, each tile meets high-quality standards and is suitable for many indoor installations. With proper care, these tiles can last for decades.
