P-6 series – Landscapes
The P-6 series are inspired by original 18th-century Delft wall tiles, decorated with spider corner (PCM-01) motifs and painted in a classic shade of blue. Each tile is decorated with traditional corner motifs and shown here on a mix of Poarte-D, Poarte-E, and Poarte-H shades, finished with both crackling and pinholes. This is our standard configuration, but the tiles can be fully adjusted to match your preferences.
32 unique scenes
This series includes 32 different hand-painted scenes, all drawn from a set of reclaimed 18th-century Delft tiles. The collection captures a wide variety of peaceful Dutch landscapes, from small cottages and quiet villages to boats, bridges, wells, birds, and more. These tiles were originally created to reflect daily life and were often used in kitchens and corridors to bring a glimpse of the outdoors inside, even during grey and rainy days. Each scene is painted by hand, resulting in subtle variations in tone and detail that give the tiles a warm, natural character. Whether used in a traditional setting or as a soft contrast in a modern space, the P-6 series offers timeless beauty and quiet storytelling in every tile.
Pinholes in the corners
Pinholes were part of the tile production process before 1860. A wooden board was used to stabilize the clay during cutting, leaving small pin marks - typically two, three, or four. This enhancement can be added to these tiles to recreate this authentic imperfection, contributing to their historic look and feel.
Crackled finish
Crazing refers to the fine network of hairline cracks that appear over time on antique ceramics, including Delft tiles. It occurs naturally with age, but we offer it as an optional finish to evoke the same aged appearance. If you're looking for a more antique, timeworn look, the crackled finish is a perfect match for this series.
