Overview
These reclaimed Delft wall tiles date from the 17th century (c. 1640) and depict all kinds of animals in blue. Each tile is decorated with a 'scalloped' border and 'Wanli' inspired corner motifs. The tiles measure roughly 13 cm's / 5 inches square, but as they are antique and were made by hand, small variations in size are common. They are also rather thick, as the tiles are of heavy 17th century quality. We have a significant quantity (c. 45) of these tiles available, making them interesting for a small to medium sized tiling project. Due to the vidid shades of blue and white and timeless design, the tiles work well in classic and modern interiors.
