Antique? Not really! Some of you might already have noticed that we are preparing the launch of our daughter company Poarte - Delft Tiles (@poartedelfttiles). With Poarte we will be introducing an endless assortment of handmade and hand-painted reproduction Delft tiles that are going to set a new standard within this market. To accomplish this, we are using our own stock of antique tiles as leading examples, from design to colour development. As our stock covers an endless variety of scenes, Poarte's assortment will never stop developing. It will also be the only range of Delft tile reproductions of which each and every single tile is based on an antique predecessor. Follow @poartedelfttiles to stay up to date. We expect to launch the first type of tiles before the summer of 2022. After the launch more and more types will be added gradually, including long-lost designs. Last but not least; the Delft tiles made by Poarte will be available through a select group of dealers. We will update you on this in due course.
Project: Sydney, Australia 2021 - All designs based on 17th and 18th century Delft tiles.
