Overview
P-3 series – Large flowers
These Delft wall tiles are based on original antique reclaimed 18th and 19th century Delft tiles. These tiles are decorated with large and rich flowers in blue and they are painted on shade Poarte-E. This is our base configuration, but of course it can be completely fine-tuned to your preferences. In addition, the manganese version of this tile can be found here.
44 unique scenes
All the scenes in this series are based on designs found on original 18th- and 19th-century Delft tiles. They’re full of beautiful hand-painted flowers, some bold, some delicate, and every now and then you’ll spot a little bird, butterfly, or bug hovering nearby. Each tile has its own charm, and together they create a lively, detailed wall that always gives you something new to look at. With so many different scenes in the mix, your installation feels playful, personal, and never repetitive. The more time you look at the tiles, the more little details you’ll notice. And since every tile is painted by hand, no two are exactly the same, giving your space a warm, one-of-a-kind feel.
Pinholes in the corners
Pinholes were part of the tile production process before 1860. A wooden board was used to stabilize the clay during cutting, leaving small pin marks - typically two, three, or four. This enhancement can be added to the P-3 tiles to recreate this authentic imperfection, contributing to their historic look and feel.
Crackled finish
Crazing refers to the fine network of hairline cracks that appear over time on antique ceramics, including Delft tiles. It occurs naturally with age, but we offer it as an optional finish to evoke the same aged appearance. If you're looking for a more antique, timeworn look, the crackled finish is a perfect match for the P-3 series.
