Overview
Ivory 1 is the mid-tone of our ivory collection, offering a perfect balance of warmth and subtlety. Positioned between the brightness of Ivory and the depth of Ivory 2, it plays a key role in the Ivory Mix, creating a harmonious blend of soft tones.
This shade is an excellent choice for plain installations or as a refined base for hand-painted decorated tiles, lending a modern and understated character to any space.
Pinholes in the corners; pinholes reflect the historic production process of Delft tiles, which remained common until approximately 1860. These small indentations in the corners, recreated with two pinholes per tile, add authenticity and charm to Ivory 1.
Crackled finish; the crackled finish replicates the fine surface cracks seen in antique Delft tiles, giving Ivory 1 a lightly aged texture. This optional enhancement adds character, while omitting it allows for a smoother, more modern appearance.
