Overview
Ivory is the lightest of three ivory tones we offer, characterized by its soft, contemporary elegance. This shade is ideal for those seeking a modern alternative to classic Delft tiles. It works beautifully on its own or as part of the Ivory Mix, a blend of all three ivory tones that highlights their subtle variations.
With its understated warmth, Ivory pairs seamlessly with our hand-painted decorated tiles, adding a fresh and refined look to both plain and decorated installations.
Pinholes in the corners; pinholes replicate a historic detail from Delft tile production before approximately 1860. At that time, clay tiles were stabilized with a wooden board secured by pins, leaving subtle corner indentations. Adding two pinholes to each tile recreates this authentic and timeless look.
Crackled finish; the optional crackled finish adds fine surface cracks (crazing) that mimic the aged appearance of antique Delft tiles. This enhancement enhances the depth and character of Ivory, offering a lightly aged texture for those who prefer an authentic touch.

Product disclaimer
Our ivory tones are made with traditional methods, so minor variations in color, size, and design are natural. These differences contribute to the charm and authenticity Delft tiles are known for. While not machine-made to uniform perfection, they meet high-quality standards, making them suitable for many indoor installations. With proper care, they can last for decades.
