Overview
This romantic and idyllic Delft tile was made around 1780 and depicts a harbor scene in manganese. The two men in the rowing boat seem to place their fish trap, or they are checking it whether some fish was caught. The tile was made in the Dutch city of Rotterdam. The corners are decorated with the 'rosette' motif. The tile is in an excellent condition.
