Overview
These are lovely original 17th century Dutch wall tiles in blue with all kinds of boats, ships, fish and other sea creatures. These tiles were made in the Dutch city of Harlingen, known for their high quality tiles that were made during the second half of the 17th century. The tiles can easily be combined with 17th century wall tiles with ships and boats. Great to use for nautical or sea life related projects.
Set
These tiles are a set, meaning that they have been together the past centuries, are mainly of one firing and were made by the same pottery and possibly even painted by the same painter. It makes them very consistent in size and overall style. We prefer to sell this set as a whole, although significant numbers can be discussed.
