Overview
P-7 series – Small flowers
This series takes its inspiration from antique Delft wall tiles and features small, detailed hand-painted flowers. Each tile is done in classic manganese on our Poarte-E, finished with subtle crackling and pinholes to give it that authentic, aged feel. This is our go-to setup, but everything from the finish to the base tone and tile shade can be adjusted to match your style or project. Prefer something warmer? You can also find this series in a classic blue version here.
44 unique scenes
There are 44 different designs in this collection, all carefully recreated from original 18th- and 19th-century Delft tiles. Each one shows a different flower, and every now and then, you’ll spot a tiny bird, butterfly, or bug adding a bit of extra charm. With so many variations, your installation will always feel lively and full of detail. Since they’re hand-painted, each tile has its own subtle differences, giving the overall look a personal and one-of-a-kind feel. These tiles work beautifully in all kinds of spaces, from hallway wainscoting and kitchen walls to fireplaces. They also pair perfectly with plain white tiles or larger floral pieces, so you’ve got lots of freedom to create something unique and full of character.
Pinholes in the corners
Pinholes were part of the tile production process before 1860. A wooden board was used to stabilize the clay during cutting, leaving small pin marks - typically two, three, or four. This enhancement can be added to these tiles to recreate this authentic imperfection, contributing to their historic look and feel.
Crackled finish
Crazing refers to the fine network of hairline cracks that appear over time on antique ceramics, including Delft tiles. It occurs naturally with age, but we offer it as an optional finish to evoke the same aged appearance. If you're looking for a more antique, timeworn look, the crackled finish is a perfect match for this series.
